Perfume That Points To The Spirit Of Jesus - Scents Of The Spirit

Creating a truly rich and captivating fragrance requires inspiration. As does any work of art such as a song, poem, dance choreography, or a painting. I began crafting perfume oils with the intent to help people feel something. 

Serenity, Joy, and Grounded were the labels for my first 3 fragrances, back in 2021. I was dedicated to creating skincare and self care products that were free of toxins, safe for skin, and caring for the soul.

The inspiration was my morning routine. When I wake in the morning, I usually find myself needing one or more of these three things: peace, joy, and a sense of groundedness. As I continued to craft, I began to get inspired by more things, such as patience and breath. 

It was in 2023 when I heard the whisper of the Holy Spirit "Make fragrances based on the Fruits of the Spirit." 

I thought I had heard wrong because, well, I googled "fruits of the spirit," and as I read the scriptures, I saw there were 9. 9 unique fruits. 9 unique fragrances for me to create. And market. And sell. Wow, ummm... maybe I heard that wrong?

I took the leap of faith to start creating in July 2024, and in August 2024 I launched the Scents of the Spirit perfume oils on Etsy. They were received with much enthusiasm and delight, so making a website was the next step. And with each of these steps, I have to remind myself to pause. Because, building a Kingdom business means that this isn't about me. It means that although I am making a profit, this business is an act of service and ministry. 

So forever I will proclaim that this line of perfume oils was inspired by the Holy Spirit. And my genuine prayer is that every single person who uses these products has a unique encounter with the Creator God and the Savior Yeshua Hamashiach. And for those who have encountered our Savior, and continue to do so, I hope these products inspire continued desire for fully developed Fruits of the Spirit in your life.
